The hotel is perfectly located, near Mendenhall Glacier and downtown Mendenhaven. It's convenient to reach attractions like Shrine of St. Therese, Eagle Beach Park, and St. Paul's Catholic Church. Taxi rides to the ferry, airport, and downtown are around $30.

A very nice and comfortable place to stay. The staff for the most part are friendly and accommodating. They do have a shuttle to airport and ferry terminal.

The room Key cards are subject to being wiped out by simply being next to your cellphone, if you are not paying attention putting things in you pocket you will have to make another trip to the front office. I’ve only had one employee that was rude and discourteous. I had called to have the shuttle come to the airport to pick me up. The lady I was talking to asked if I had my bags yet of which I responded “Not yet” but before I could say another word because my last bag was in sight, she gave me a lecture on how I needed to call back when I had my baggage. By the time she was done with the lecture I had all my luggage was walking out the door and she hung up without letting say another word. I had to walk to the hotel in the rain because they did not answer phone when I tried to call back. This was the only time I’ve ever had a problem with the employees since they have all been very nice people.

The room was a great value with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker; the location was convenient, and the staff were excellent, plus it's just minutes away from a valley and the bay!

The breakfast had variety of selection, the food was delicious. We had a quiet bedroom. The location in a very very nice area was absolutely perfect and excellant.

Convenient location close to the airport and ferry terminal, making it easy to catch your flight or boat ⛴️. The hotel offers a hearty breakfast with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Additionally, there are restaurants nearby and taxis that can take you there for around $30.

Breakfast: Not enough tables for everyone. I had to get my food and go back to the room to eat. When I could sit at a table it was usually dirty.

The location is great. The hotel provides shuttle service even at 4 a.m. Even though the breakfast bar wasn't open, the coffee was hot and the fruit was out as well as yogurt. Love the chocolate chip cookies every evening. Staff is always friendly.

Efficient staff. Healthy food, great value. Incredibly comfortable location in the downtown area. Quick check-in, parking on site. Shuttle was a nice touch. Excellent stay during our Alaskan vacation.

The room was spotless and attractive, and location of the hotel was magnificent. Had an excellent stay during our Alaskan vacation, it was great value contrasted with other options. The staff were efficient and were around whole time. Generally everything was good, but the bathroom was very small. We greatly enjoyed a hot breakfast.
